Magician & Illusionist Keynote Speakers

A magician on a corporate stage is doing one of two jobs, and the difference decides which one you should book. Some are entertainers hired to give the room an hour it will not forget. Others are keynote speakers whose craft happens to be magic, and who use it to make an idea land in a way a slide deck never will.

Both are legitimate. Booking the wrong one is the mistake. An audience expecting a closing-night show will sit patiently through a leadership framework and feel slightly cheated, and a leadership audience expecting substance will enjoy a pure entertainment set and leave with nothing to apply on Monday.

Amplify represents three, and they are genuinely different products. Here is how to tell them apart.

Three Magicians, Three Different Bookings

Jon Dorenbos, when the story is the point. Jon spent fourteen seasons in the NFL and made two Pro Bowls before reaching the finals of America's Got Talent. The magic is genuinely world class, but it is the delivery mechanism for a story about resilience and perspective that stands entirely on its own. Book him when you want the room moved, not just amazed, and when a motivational or main-stage slot needs a name with real weight behind it.

Arthur Fratelli-Silknitter, when you need one act to do two jobs. Known onstage as The Amazing Arthur, he is a mentalist with more than 25 years of stage experience, a TEDx speaker and an author. His interactive keynote is built around focus and communication, which makes him unusual in that the same booking can serve as a content session on the opening morning or as closing-night entertainment on the last. If your agenda has one budget line and two holes to fill, he is the efficient answer.

Blake Vogt, when the subject is the creative process itself. Blake is the inventor other magicians hire. He has created illusions for David Copperfield and David Blaine, designed the effects in the Now You See Me films and Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp, and taught Paul Rudd the on-screen illusions. His keynote takes an audience behind the work: how many wrong versions came first, and what it takes to build something everyone was certain was impossible. Book him for innovation, R&D and strategy audiences, or any room that needs to think differently about a problem it has been stuck on.

Entertainment slot or content slot?

Tell us which one you are filling and the shortlist gets much shorter. A closing-night reception, an awards dinner or a client appreciation evening is an entertainment booking. An opening keynote, an innovation session or a leadership meeting is a content booking. Arthur is genuinely comfortable in either. Jon and Blake are both content-first, with performances strong enough that audiences often assume otherwise.

What a magician solves that a standard keynote does not

Attention. A room that has sat through four sessions since breakfast has very little left, and a performer who can make people put their phones down buys back the attention your message needs. That is why magicians land well in the graveyard slot after lunch, on the final afternoon, or anywhere the energy in the room has visibly dropped.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is a magician a real keynote speaker or just entertainment?
It depends entirely on who you book, which is why this page exists. All three of these performers deliver genuine content, and all three can also simply entertain. Tell us which you need and we will match accordingly rather than assuming.

What is the difference between a magician, an illusionist and a mentalist?
In practice the terms overlap. Magician is the broadest. Illusionist usually implies larger-scale staged effects. A mentalist works with thought, memory, prediction and suggestion rather than sleight of hand. Arthur Fratelli-Silknitter is the mentalist on our roster.

Can a magician work for a large conference audience?
Yes. All three regularly perform for large rooms, including theatre-scale audiences. Sight lines and screen support matter more for magic than for a standard keynote, so tell us the room size and setup early.

Can we get close-up magic during a reception as well as a stage set?
Often yes, as an add-on to the main booking. Ask when you enquire, since it depends on the performer and the schedule.

What do magician keynote speakers cost?
Fees vary by performer, format and date. See our keynote speaker pricing guide, or tell us your budget and we will send options that fit.
