Amplify Speakers

Why Work With Amplify Speakers

Most planners start with a search engine. They scroll, they watch reels, they get overwhelmed, and they book someone they feel reasonably good about rather than someone they feel genuinely confident about.

We are a national keynote speaker bureau representing speakers for corporate, association, healthcare, and campus events. This page is our case for why working with us is different, and where we are honest about the limits of it.

Six Reasons

01

We tell you who is right, not who is available

A directory shows you who has an open date. We start with your audience, your theme, and the outcome you want, then match against that brief rather than a keyword.

We know things about our speakers their websites do not show: how they perform with different audience types, which industries they genuinely resonate with, how they handle pre-event prep, and whether they make your job easier or harder. That knowledge is the whole product.

02

Our roster is curated, not aggregated

We represent people we know well enough to match confidently. That is why the roster grows steadily rather than in bulk, and why we can vouch for the people on it rather than forwarding you a database result.

The credentials bear that out. Seven of our speakers hold the Certified Speaking Professional designation, which fewer than one percent of professional speakers worldwide have earned, and one of them is among only three people on earth holding the CSP alongside the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame and the Global Speaking Fellow. More than seventy are published authors, including titles from Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, Wiley and Pearson, and three New York Times bestsellers.

The other measure is what happens in the room. At an association conference of 783 attendees, Amy Purdy scored 4.93 out of 5 against a 4.44 event average, with 99 percent saying they would recommend the session. At a national conference surveying more than 6,000 attendees, Amanda Lindhout was ranked the top speaker out of more than 40. We ask for those numbers, and we will share them with you before you book.

It also means we will tell you when nobody on our roster is the right answer. See the authors we represent.

03

We work inside your budget rather than around it

Our roster spans emerging voices through nationally recognized names, so the conversation starts with the number you actually have rather than a single price point.

If the person you have in mind is out of range we say so plainly instead of letting you spend three weeks finding out, and then we show you who is genuinely strong at your level. The fees guide covers what the market looks like at each tier.

04

We source beyond our own roster

If you have a name in mind who is not on our list, we contact them directly. If they are exclusively represented elsewhere, we work with that bureau rather than steering you toward a substitute.

A bureau that only ever recommends its own talent is optimizing for its roster rather than your event. More on how that works.

05

We handle the whole process

Availability checks, fee transparency, contracting, deposits, travel coordination, riders, pre-event prep calls, and follow-up. One point of contact owning the speaker relationship from first enquiry through event day.

For a large event where the speaker is one of dozens of moving pieces, that is the difference between a manageable week and a bad one. The full process is here.

06

It costs you nothing

Bureau compensation comes from the speaker side of the engagement, so the fee you are quoted is the fee you would pay booking direct. There is no markup for using us and no separate planner fee.

What We Will Tell You Honestly

A few things we say out loud that most bureaus would rather not.

  • When a speaker is not the answer. If your attainment problem is a quota design problem, or your engagement problem is a role clarity problem, a keynote will not fix it. We would rather say that than sell you an hour that changes nothing.
  • When someone else on the shortlist is better. Including when they are not on our roster.
  • When the date is too tight. Inside 90 days you are choosing from who is available rather than who is right, and we will tell you that before you commit rather than after.
  • Where a speaker is weaker. Every shortlist we send includes a note on where each person fits and where they do not.
A roster you can actually vouch for is worth more to a planner than a database.

What We Are Not

We are not the largest bureau and we do not try to be. If you want a database of ten thousand names to filter yourself, there are better options. If you want a headline celebrity at a stadium event, a bureau built around that market will serve you better.

What we do well is match a real speaker to a real room inside a real budget, across corporate, association, healthcare, and campus events, and handle everything after that.

Before You Decide

Worth reading if you are still weighing it up: bureau versus booking direct covers whether to use a bureau at all, and how to choose a speaker bureau covers what to ask any bureau, including us.
