Amplify Speakers

Speakers by Industry

The right keynote speaker depends far more on the room than on the industry label. A state association convention, a safety meeting, and an appreciation event inside the same sector are three completely different briefs, and the speaker who is right for one is often wrong for another.

Each guide below covers what actually works for that industry: the event types you are likely running, which speakers land well in those rooms, and the briefing question worth answering before you book anyone. We book keynotes, breakout workshops, half-day and full-day training, panel moderation, and emcee work, so one travel day can often cover several slots on your agenda.

How to Use These Guides

Every industry guide follows the same structure, because the same questions come up regardless of sector.

Start with the room, not the industry

Each guide opens by breaking the industry into the event types you are actually running, because a convention, a safety meeting, and an appreciation night call for genuinely different speakers. Find the card that matches your event and follow the topic links from there.

Keynote, workshop, or both

Most association programs need more than one format. A general session sets the tone, a breakout workshop is where people practice something usable, and an emcee holds a multi-day agenda together. Nearly every speaker on our roster does at least two of those, and booking them together is far more efficient than bringing in separate people for each slot.

Tell us the budget first

Our roster spans emerging voices through nationally recognized names, so the conversation starts with what you have to spend rather than a single price. Most association program chairs are working from a number set a year in advance. Tell us the number and we will show you who is genuinely strong at that level rather than sending a wish list you cannot act on. The speaker fees guide covers what the market actually looks like.

Do not see your industry?

The guides above cover the sectors we are asked about most, but our roster works far beyond them. Speakers are matched on what a room needs rather than on an industry tag, so tell us about your event and we will point you to the right shortlist.

Not sure which guide fits your event?

Tell us the industry, the kind of event, roughly how many people, and the budget you are working with. We will point you to the right shortlist rather than a generic search.
