About Simoriah Stogner

Simoriah Stogner entered technology without knowing how to use email. Twenty years later, she leads enterprise systems engineering and server operations.

A TEDx speaker, technology executive and founder of Simulating Mindsets, Simoriah built that career from a starting point most hiring filters would have screened out. She survived childhood homelessness, became a mother at seventeen and entered the industry without a four-year degree. She then spent two decades rising through enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, AI, operational transformation and people leadership.

Her results speak in the language executives use. She led automation that cut server delivery from roughly 33 days to under 24 hours, and she helped build women's employee communities serving more than 4,000 participants. Her work has spanned enterprise modernization, remediation strategy and governance across complex environments, and she was named the 2023 IT Person of the Year by the Springfield Technology Council.

That combination is what makes her land. Her TEDx talk, One Size Does Not Fit All, asks leaders a pointed question: what if the talent shortage is partly a vision problem? Simoriah puts a face to the capability organizations overlook, then connects it directly to the decisions leaders make about hiring, technology and execution. Audiences leave with a clearer view of their own capacity and a practical way to recognize it in others.

She has spoken at TEDx Missouri S&T, the Biz 417 Think Summit, the Springfield Technology Council, SheLeadsTech, Missouri State University's College of Business, the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce, Central Bank and Care to Learn, and serves on boards focused on technology, women and rural innovation.

Based in Springfield, Missouri, Simoriah travels across the U.S. for in-person events and delivers virtual keynotes for U.S.-based audiences.
