Keynote Speakers in Dallas
Dallas-Fort Worth is one of the largest corporate headquarters markets in the country, home to more than twenty Fortune 500 companies across financial services, healthcare, technology, retail, real estate and energy. That density means the audience has usually seen a genuinely strong speaker before, and a generic motivational set will be noticed as generic.
Texas event culture rewards directness. Frameworks that are clear and credentials that are real tend to land better here than polish alone, and a speaker who over-hedges or talks around a point loses the room faster than in most markets.
Four of our speakers live in the DFW metroplex. Johnny Quinn and Amberly Lago are both in Dallas, Joel Zeff is in the metroplex and Jake Thompson is in Frisco. For a DFW date that means no travel premium in the fee and a speaker who already understands the room.
Speakers Who Work This Market

Where DFW Events Actually Happen
Downtown Dallas carries the largest share of convention and corporate business, anchored by the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center, one of the ten largest facilities of its kind in the country.
Uptown and North Dallas hold a large share of the corporate campus population and the financial services headquarters, and are often the practical choice for an internal company event.
Fort Worth is a genuinely separate business culture from Dallas rather than a suburb, with its own downtown, its own convention business and its own identity. Treating the two as interchangeable is noticed.
Frisco, Plano and the northern suburbs have grown into a corporate hub in their own right, with a significant and growing headquarters presence pulling meetings away from downtown Dallas entirely.
Grapevine and Irving sit closest to DFW Airport and are the practical choice for fly-in, fly-out programmes pulling attendees from across the country.
The Industries That Shape the Room
Financial services and real estate. A deep concentration of corporate headquarters and a fast-growing financial sector, with association and internal event calendars that run year-round.
Healthcare and healthcare staffing. Several major systems and one of the largest healthcare staffing employers in the country are headquartered here, supporting a substantial clinical and executive leadership calendar. See our healthcare speakers.
Technology. A genuinely large and growing sector across enterprise software, telecom and fintech, concentrated partly downtown and increasingly in the northern suburbs.
Sales-driven organisations. Dallas runs one of the most active sales kickoff calendars in the country, and it is consistently one of the highest-demand markets for sales and revenue performance content. See our sales speakers.
Dallas is not Fort Worth, honestly
The two cities have distinct business identities, distinct downtowns and distinct audiences, and a speaker or planner who treats them as one undifferentiated metroplex is noticed by a Fort Worth room in particular. If your event is in Fort Worth, say so, and we will brief accordingly rather than defaulting to generic DFW framing.
Your date, practically
DFW runs a heavy convention and sales-kickoff calendar concentrated in January and February, so book early if your date falls there. Summer heat is a genuine factor for any outdoor or transfer-heavy programme, and worth planning around rather than ignoring.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do you have speakers who live in Dallas?Yes, four. Johnny Quinn and Amberly Lago live in Dallas, Joel Zeff lives in the DFW metroplex and Jake Thompson lives in Frisco. That removes travel cost from the fee and reduces weather-related cancellation risk.
Is Fort Worth the same market as Dallas? No, and it is worth telling us if your event is specifically in Fort Worth. It has its own business identity and its own downtown, and treating it as a Dallas suburb is noticed.
What do keynote speakers cost in Dallas?Standard market rates apply, typically $7,500 to $15,000 for emerging voices, $15,000 to $35,000 for established professionals and $35,000 or more for high-profile names. A DFW-based speaker can reduce travel cost from that figure.
Do your speakers serve Frisco, Plano, Irving and Grapevine?Yes, the full metroplex. Several of our speakers live in the northern suburbs and regularly work venues throughout the region.
How far in advance should we book?Ninety days is usually workable. Six months or more for a date in January or February, when the convention and sales-kickoff calendar is at its busiest.
